Stay in an Army Helicopter Via Airbnb

We came across one of the coolest Airbnb listings ever: A real repurposed Chinook CH-47D helicopter is available for you to rent for the vacation of a lifetime.

It’s in Florida and it will run you $175 a night. If you get some friends together, this could be one epic week-long excursion.

The Airbnb ad for the copter rental reads:

“Step into our meticulously transformed Chinook Helicopter, an exclusive and totally unique vacation rental, and embark on a journey into the heart of nature’s beauty and the outdoor excitement that surrounds it. This isn’t just a place to stay; it’s a one-of-a-kind gateway to the great outdoors and adventure.”

Before you see the inside, you should also know that this is an off-roader’s paradise. This chopper is on a whole off-road area called the Moto Ranch. It’s a 5 acre compound, and the ad promises the surrounding motorcycle area will “recharge your spirits.”
