How You Can See Reba’s New Show, ‘Happy’s Place,’ Live, in Person

While Reba McEntire‘s new television show Happy’s Place doesn’t premiere until the fall, filming is scheduled to begin on Aug. 20.

The new series will be shot in a classic sitcom style in front of a live studio audience. This is great news for fans who want to see the show live!

How to Attend a Live Taping of Reba’s New Show Happy’s Place

Like many television series, game shows and talk shows, Happy’s Place will be filmed at a studio in Los Angeles, on the Universal Studios lot. In order to fill the audience seating area, the show-runners are handing out tickets to those who want to attend a taping. All you have to do is reserve your tickets …  and get yourself to Hollywood.

There is one catch:

Just because you reserve a ticket, does not mean you are guaranteed to see the show. According to the 1iota website — where reservations can be made — passes are “issued in excess of capacity,” meaning if there are no seats available on the day you reserved, you’re not getting in.

It’s a risk, but if you get in, how cool will it be to tell your friends you got to see the show live?!

Registration is closed for the Aug. 20 taping, but fans can request tickets for upcoming tapings as they become available throughout the season. Filming dates are currently scheduled through Nov. 19.

“Want to be a part of all the fun at #HappysPlace?” McEntire shares on social media, inviting fans to her show.

What Is Reba’s Show Happy’s Place About?

Happy’s Place stars the country veteran as Bobbie. When Bobbie inherits her father’s restaurant, she discovers that she has a half-sister named Isabella she never knew about. Because their dad left the restaurant to both of them, they become unlikely business partners who must now navigate keeping the business afloat.

Belissa Escobedo plays Isabella, while some familiar faces make up the supporting cast. Melissa Peterman — who worked with McEntire on her show Reba — will play a bartender named Gabby, while McEntire’s boyfriend Rex Linn will take on the role of Emmett, the cook.

Happy’s Place premieres on Oct. 18 on NBC and Peacock.

Jess hosts the syndicated radio show, Taste of Country Weekend, which can be heard on country stations nationwide. Tune in for all of the best new country music, spotlights on new tracks and emerging artists, plus Double-Downs on all of your favorites. The weekend is always better with a little Taste of Country in it.
