Where Did We Get Our List of Country Music Olympic Events?

Our list of events for a Country Music Olympics came from Taste of Country readers. Fans of our Facebook page shared their ideas of the perfect country-themed competitions when we asked, “If country music had its own Olympics, what would the events be?”

Many responses were music-related, like longest note-holding or deepest baritone competitions. Some even suggested yodeling! Other chose more physical events like hay bale throwing. And of course, there were several redneck choices like cow tipping, lawn mower races and a unique competition for the longest burp.
