Gabby Barrett is the rare country artist who keeps photos of her kids offline and owns it. There is a good reason why we never see pictures of her three children — it’s likely similar to the reasons Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Luke Combs and more have done the same to protect their kids’ privacy.

Usually fans don’t get such a clean explanation.

Perhaps most private is Miranda Lambert. Yep, we said Miranda Lambert, because her husband Brendan has a son who was born just before the couple were married. Little man is going on five years old now, but even paparazzi have struck out trying to get a look at Landon’s boyish cheeks.

A few defensive stars have relaxed in recent years: Carrie Underwood and Sam Hunt make this list, but both have been a bit more open to allowing fans to see how cute their kids are. That’s certainly a hard decision for a celebrity parent — on one hand you’re proud, but on the other hand, the last thing you want is for a critical comment (Twitter is truly awful) to get back to your kid.

Maren Morris experienced this in 2020 when she says mom-shaming convinced her to never post pictures of young Hayes online again. A few months later followers got a photo of her with then-husband Ryan Hurd and their child with his face blurred out.
