“This song is a fun trip around music city with a local musician!” says Mark Miller.

Written by Sawyer Brown frontman Mark Miller, “Nashville Cat” is a honky-tonking ode to all things Music City — from the downtown bar scene full of line dancing and live music to the Nudie’s Suits and Stetson Hats to Music Row, the Grand Ole Opry, hot chicken and beyond. Like a twang-heavy, Southern-inspired version of “Uptown Girl,” the new song takes listeners on a quintessential Nashville journey through the lens of a musician sweeping an uptown tourist off her feet.

In addition to the album, Sawyer Brown frontman Mark Miller will release his first-ever memoir The Boys And Me: My Life In The Country Music Supergroup Sawyer Brown next month (February 8th), following the band’s career-spanning documentary Get Me To The Stage On Time, which premiered at the Nashville Film Festival to a sold out crowd.

Sawyer Brown is currently on tour across the U.S. For more information on Sawyer Brown, visit sawyerbrown.com.
