Country Music’s Biggest Names Spotted at Nashville NASCAR Race

Country Music’s Biggest Names Spotted at Nashville NASCAR Race

It was a day full of heat, humidity, exciting racing and country music this past Sunday at The Nashville Superspeedway.

And, as is to be expected when NASCAR comes to Nashville, there were some familiar famous faces present on race day.

Which Country Stars Were at the NASCAR Race in Nashville?

Luke Combs, HARDY and Travis Denning were all spotted at the NASCAR event this past Sunday.

From the beginning of the day on Sunday, all the way through the end of the race was a day that showed Nashville in an amazing light.

Spotted before the show on pit road was country superstar singer and song writer, HARDY. He was walking out of the driver pre-race meeting tent with a huge smile on his face.

Also spotted in the crowd, mingling with fans, was country newcomer Travis Denning. Denning was chatting it up with people near the stage during the driver introductions.

As the driver introductions were happening, the crowd was shown a video of NASCAR star Bubba Wallace and Combs out by what looked to be Combs’ tour bus.

It was Wallace welcoming Combs to the race and presenting him with his very own fire suit.

Combs then took the Ford Mustang pace car around the track for a spin. It’s important to note that due to the banking degree levels of the turns on most NASCAR tracks, if you’re going to drive on them, you have to be going at least 80 to 90 mph.

While that might not seem that fast if you are a NASCAR driver, for someone like Luke Combs, surely he must’ve been a little bit nervous and white knuckled on the wheel.

Joey Logano ended up winning the race in overtime.

Evan Paul is the host of Taste of Country Nights, a syndicated radio show heard on more than 130 country radio stations nationwide, every night from 7PM to midnight. He plays the best new country music and interviews today’s top stars, like Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Dan + Shay, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Lady A, + more!

Old-School NASCAR Car Logos That Are Still Cool Today

It’s pretty common for NASCAR rides to switch designs week to week, but back in the ’90s, when the cars had to be actually painted versus wrapped like today, rides stuck with designs for weeks at a time.

Some of these paint jobs never would see the light of day in today’s world. Let’s run down some some classic NASCAR sponsor paint jobs as well as some forgotten ones.

See Pictures of Luke Combs’ New Nashville Bar, Category 10

Luke Combs is ready to join the ranks of country artists who have opened their own bars in Nashville’s Broadway district. The honky-tonk will be called Category 10, playing off of his debut single “Hurricane.” Although true hurricanes are categorized no higher than a Category 5, Combs opted to double the intensity with a 10 ranking. It’s a nod to his career, really.

Category 10 will be anything but small: The bar will be the largest entertainment venue on the strip, featuring the area’s biggest dance floor and rooftop. Combs is also including more intimate spaces to accommodate young talented singers and songwriters.
