Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes proved that you can be glam and goofy at the same time as they walked the red carpet ahead of the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards on Thursday night (Sept. 26).

Stokes wore a svelt, simple brown suit with red shoes for a little extra flourish, while Ballerini was the star of the show. She rocked a yellow-and-brown, geometrically patterned ensemble, perhaps a nod to her upcoming album, Patterns, which is due out late next month.

It makes sense that Ballerini’s look would take center stage at the PCCAs. She’s spoken in the past about how she and her TV star boyfriend enjoy supporting each other in their respective fields, and Stokes often shows up to be her cheerleader at country music-centric events.

Even so, that doesn’t mean they can’t dabble in each other’s worlds. Ballerini recently announced that she will be making a guest appearance in a new TV drama series, Doctor Odyssey. She’s also shared that Stokes welcomed her into “his world,” and even helped her run lines for her role.

Ballerini is scheduled to perform later in the evening during Thursday night’s broadcast. The 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards airs on NBC live from Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry.
